Sold out!

PyCon 2014 is sold out!

Following two sold out events in Santa Clara, CA, we're so happy to make it a third in Montréal. The talk schedule is amazing, tutorials are better than ever, posters are looking great, and all together it's shaping up to be an incredible conference. We're bringing back the 5K Charity Fun Run, Young Coder workshop, and have more events to announce.

If you weren't able to get a ticket, we hope you'll explore other conference opportunities. The Python community has been growing a ton lately, and conferences are popping up all the time. Next weekend is PyData London, PyCon Philippines, and PyTennessee. DjangoCon Europe and PyCon APAC are in May. PyCon Singapore is in June. SciPy, EuroPython, and PyOhio are in July. Follow @pythonevents on twitter for an event feed, or check out a calendar on the Python wiki.

Please note that there is no waiting list, and registration is closed to new registrations. If you were granted a ticket by financial aid or have a ticket via a sponsor package, you have a registration code that allows you to complete your signup process.

While the conference dates of April 11-13 are sold out, tutorials are not yet sold out. We still have space in some of our tutorials, so check out the schedule and see what you can learn! Tutorials cost $150 per session, which is an absolute deal to get three hours of training by leaders of the community, domain experts, and full time educators.

If you got a ticket, we'll see you in Montreal! If you didn't we hope to see you next year!

No doubt one of favourite conferences ever! Such a great and supportive community and it was a pleasure to attend the past two years in SC.
I subscribe to this blog and was hoping to see a "warning get your tickets soon" notice but looks like I missed my chance. I'll have to be there "virtually" -- is this a possibility?

Is there any point to showing up without an advanced ticket registration? Surely not everyone who signed up will be able to make it for many possible reasons.

JDC: While we may end up getting some people who don't show up, at this point registration is closed and we will not be offering on-site signup.
